Why Open Source?

ComUnion is enterprise software that is free to download, free to use, free to modify, and free to redistribute. We believe that by releasing the code under an open source license, we are able to get the input and testing of a wider community of developers and users to ensure the stability and wide availability of our product. Under an open source development model, we release early and often, so that we get feedback immediately and code is tested quickly. In the future however, we might release a commercially-supported version of ComUnion, which will use the latest stable releases of the software.

License

ComUnion ERP community edition is licensed under the GNU Public License version 3 (although this may be subject to change in future releases). This license ensures that all users have access to the source code, and can modify that source code so long as the resulting product also meets the licensing requirements.
